Eastland New Construction in progress…
We cleared the land this last week! Have to smooth it out and get it ready to lay the out the house and then dig the footers. This part always seems to take the longest because we want a solid foundation for the home. Let's hope we can get those done soon, unfortunately this is our wet season
Rebar was laid and concrete was poured! Next, we get the block placed. Left our mark in the sand!
Rebar and concrete slab complete! Next phase, framing!
Insulation is in! If your home is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter a lot could have to do with not enough insulation.
Front porch Finished!
The rain finally stopped long enough for us to lay out the house! Now we get ready to dig the footers. Hope you enjoy the video of us in this phase of the build.
Blocked walls are done! Rough in plumbing is next.
Building this house so we can have our parents live with us. This is the side they will be living, we have the garage on this side as well!
Drywall is done!
Countertops are in! These pieces are very heavy and take a great crew to get them on the cabinets safe and sound.

Footers are finally dug! Took longer than we wanted but that's how it goes sometimes. We had to add some steps because the ground is not level.
Rough in plumbing done! Now for the slab.
This is the rest of the house!
We have it bricked! We will be painting the brick so was not too worried about the colors.
Bathroom shower getting ready for tile
Bunkbed Project
The attic started unfinished and dark.
Check back often to see updates on the Bunkbed job!
Framing added! The customer asked for us to add a bathroom to the space.
Attic has been insulated, drywalled, and painted! Added bathroom is coming along nicely. The space looks so much more open and is now welcoming as a bonus room.
They also wanted a large window to over look the property and let in light!
